SHORT BLOCKS/LONG BLOCKS
We are looking for two things when building a short block, horsepower and reliability. We can
build anything from stock to any type of high performance 331, 347, 408 stroker. Supercharged, nitrous, and
turbo motors are build to specific clearances and tolerances. We have done extensive research and development when choosing
parts for your performance motor; pistons, rods, crank, bearings, etc. The machinist we use has over 20 years experience
in machining everything from stock to NHRA Pro Stock motors. Professional engine assembly is a must for any quality
engine. All short block are held to a high standard. We double (and sometimes) triple check each detail during
the assembly process. For the guys on a budget, we do build a budget 302/306 short block (reconditioned rods/crank)
held to the same standards. All assembly is guaranteed, and a plus about using Big Boy Racing Fabrication is that we are
local and if you have any concerns or questions about your engine, we'll be more than happy to take care of
them. It beats pulling your engine out, putting it on a crate and shipping it to another state, then playing the
waiting game.
